Don’t Miss Out on the Haleiwa and North Shore Tour
One of the biggest problems with going on vacation is making sure that every day counts. The last thing you need is to waste a day, or even half a day, on visiting an attraction only to find out that it wasn’t what you were expecting. You’ve worked hard for your vacation, and you want to every single minute of it.
That’s where Lea Lea comes to the fore as we only recommend the very best of tours available on any of the beautiful Hawaiian islands, tours we have personally checked out. That is why we are thrilled to introduce you to a brand-new tour which takes in Haleiwa Town, North Shore and the Windward side of the island of O’ahu. So, what’s all the excitement about?
This is a tour for foodies as well as sightseers
Well, to begin with, this afternoon tour lasts six-and-a-half hours as there is so much to see and do. Beyond that, this is also a tour not just for those who like to explore and learn about local culture, but those of you who like to sample the local cuisine and where Hawaii is concerned, that local cuisine is the perfect combination of fresh, unique and delicious. We don’t think we will have too much trouble making your mouth water if we mention such delights as juicy garlic butter shrimp, refreshing shave ice, famous pineapple Dole Whip, fresh macadamia nuts and coffee, and that’s just the beginning as there is also the more traditional fare of pizza, hot dogs and tacos for those of you who like something more familiar. With over 40 restaurants and cafes to choose from in Hukilau Marketplace and the Polynesian Cultural Center, your biggest problem is going to be deciding what to eat!
Convenience combined with a brilliant itinerary
To get you off to a good start, there are a number of pick-up points at a selection of Waikiki hotels so your tour will begin at somewhere between 11.30 a.m. and 11.50 a.m. Thereafter, the route you take will depend on your tour guide as they will have already checked out what the traffic is like and what will be the most efficient route for the day. The tour’s itinerary will include stops at the world-famous Dole Plantation, the Green World Coffee Plantation, the North Shore Macadamia Shop, Haleiwa Beach Park, Haleiwa Town, Kawela Bay on the North Shore, the Polynesian Cultural Center – Hukilau Marketplace for lunch, and Kualoa Beach Park (Chinaman’s Hat).
There will be plenty of opportunities for great photos, such as Pali Highway, the stunning Ko’olau Mountain Range, Chinaman’s Hat and the North Shore Beaches including Waimea Bay, Pupukea, Banzai Pipeline and Sunset Beach. Beyond that you will also be visiting the Polynesian Cultural Center / Laie Hawaii Temple and Haleiwa Town, before being dropped back off at your original pickup point roughly six-and-a-half hours later.
If you are planning to come to any of Hawaii’s beautiful islands, at Lea Lea Tours we are always keen to ‘cherry pick’ the very best of tours available.
