Bike Maui is a family owned tour operator since 1993 and the Maui’s best and most experienced downhill bike company. We are the only bike company on Maui who is an authorized concessioner with Haleakala National Park.

For those who like to sleep in, we offer a morning guided vehicle tour of the summit, crater, and visitor center. Guests then join a guided bike ride down Haleakala, with breaks in Kula and Pāʻia.

For those who have already experienced Haleakala National Park or prefer to just go cruising down the slopes and switchbacks of the mountain, our Guided Express Tour is the best bet. Guests begin their guided tour from the 6,500-ft. level just outside of the National Park entrance.

• Understand and acknowledge the risks involved in such an activity and sign a risk acknowledgment form before riding.
• Be 15 years old or older.
• Have recent bike riding experience.
• Be over 4’10” tall.
• Be physically capable of enduring this outdoor activity.
• Be free of any medications that may cause drowsiness.
• Not be under the influence of alcohol and/or drugs
• Not be pregnant.
• Not weigh over 270 lbs.
• Wear closed-toe shoes.

Drop Off
A return trip is included with the paid pickup option. Please ask our staff for return time information on your activity date. We want to accommodate all our guests, so Returns will occur once all riders finish their activity.

The bike route is a 23mile ride down Haleakala. On average, our Sunrise tours finish up around 10:30am. Day tours usually expected to be finish around 1:30pm.
