On this tour, you’ll hike through the camp’s scenic 20-acre site, learning its rich history and contributing to environmental preservation by planting trees or removing invasive plants.
After the hike, enjoy a delicious hot or cold lunch at an exclusive beach spot reserved just for our tour guests. But the adventure doesn’t end there! You’ll have the chance to explore historic Haleiwa Town, savoring refreshing shaved ice and visiting local shops and eateries.

- Green World Coffee Farm:* Savor a delightful coffee sampling or indulge in a refreshing breakfast smoothie and pastry at this flavorful detour.
- Camp Erdman, YMCA:* Embark on a guided nature hike through the exclusive trails of Camp Erdman, YMCA. Learn about the rich history of Kaena Point, the mission of Hawaii’s YMCA, and how your tour supports its reforestation and sustainability initiatives.
- Exclusive Secret Beach:* Gain exclusive access to the serene Kaena Point beach on the North Shore. Enjoy a relaxing picnic lunch, soak up the sun, stroll along miles of pristine white sandy beaches, or engage with our local guide. Keep an eye out for visiting seals or turtles, and during whale season (Dec-Apr), you might even spot a majestic whale breaching in the distance.
- Local Lunch:* Treat your taste buds to a delicious picnic lunch catered by the YMCA. During whale season (Dec-Apr), take this opportunity to search for whales or explore the endless stretches of white sand. Choose between a hot or cold picnic lunch, with orders taken by your driver guide.
- Old Haleiwa Town (Free Option): Step back in time to Hawaii’s sugar plantation era in this charming town. Explore boutique shops, surf stores, and savor the iconic shaved ice at your leisure.
- Anahulu River Fun (Added Fee Option): Head to Tsue Farm for a kayaking or Stand-Up Paddleboarding (SUP) adventure on the Anahulu River. This is a perfect, safe environment for beginners to enjoy water activities.

- The guided nature hike is a moderate/easy hike, taking approximately 20 to 30 minutes each way.
- Please wear comfortable closed-toe shoes and appropriate clothing.
- Water is provided for the guided hike.
- This tour is regenerative and sustainable. Guests are encouraged to give back to the land by planting a tree or removing invasive plants in the designated reforestation area.
- Beach Picnic Lunch options include: Hoagie Deli Sandwich with Cookie Dessert and Beverage, or a Hot Teri Chicken Bento with Beverage.
- This tour is closed on Christmas Day and New Year’s Day.
- A Camp Erdman Waiver must be signed on the vehicle.
- Please bring a towel and sunscreen.
- Routes and times may be modified or restricted due to circumstances beyond control.

- Cancellations made more than 24 hours before the service day are subject to a 10% service fee.
- Cancellations made less than 24 hours before the service day are non-refundable (100% charge).
