Feel the heat, show some muscle, enjoy Samoan song and dance and marvel as a young warrior climbs a 40-foot coconut tree-in his bare feet. Become a part of the ‘happy people’ at the Samoan village.

Swing your hips, try a bite, snag a fish, and share the love. In Tahiti, love is always in the air. Come catch the fever!

Island of Tonga

Toss a spear, laugh until your sides hurt, choose your favorite ‘guest’ drummer, and paddle a canoe. The Tongan village is filled with joy, and they’re happy to share!

“Hands-on” Activities

1:00 PM – 5:30 PM
Try your hand at throwing a spear or learn to cook in an umu (Samoan aboveground oven) at the Polynesian Cultural Center. Eight new hands-on activities have been introduced to the Center’s popular daytime experiences to give guests the chance to actively participate in several traditional Polynesian aspects of daily life, including games, crafts, cooking and ceremonies.

Canoe Tours

Canoe tours on our tropical lagoon.

Mission Settlement

12:30 PM – 6:00 PM
The 1850s Hawaii Mission includes a small nondenominational chapel, an open-air Polynesian-style schoolhouse, and a rock-walled evangelist’s house where handmade items and quilts are sold.

Huki: A Canoe Celebration, canoe pageant

2:30 pm – 3:00 pm
This is a unique pageant held on the water. Dances and music from each island are performed on large canoes and can be seen from various locations along the lagoon.

Due to Covid-19 precautions, Huki: A Canoe Celebration is unavailable until further notice.

Laie and Temple Visitors Center Tour

3:00 PM – 6:40 PM
Take a bus tour of Brigham Young University Hawaii, the town of Laie, and the Laie Hawaii Temple of The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints adjacent to the Polynesian Cultural Center.

Hawaiian Journey

1:00 PM (first show)
Last showing at 6:30 PM, Japanese language version show at 5:00 PM. The movie lasts approximately 12 minutes.

Hā Breath of Life Show

With Polynesian dance, music, and burning fire candles in the background, the iconic story of Mana and his beloved Lani is told in “Hā: Breath of Life,” a stunning evening show featuring more than 100 Polynesian natives, special effects, animation, and surround sound. An evening show, Hā: Breath of Life. It is a Pacific island tale of birth and death, love and family, tragedy and triumph.
