Itinerary

After you board Hokulani, we coast to the world famous, Manta Ray Village. Manta rays are gentle giants of the sea, with many residing along the Kona Coast.

Harmless to humans, they are drawn to the spotlights that light up the night to eat plankton. These mesmerizing creatures sometimes gracefully glide within inches of amazed snorkelers.

Swimming with manta rays is often the highlight of visitors’ trips to Hawaii. Sea Paradise is an original manta ray tour expert in Hawaii, helping its guests get up close and personal with these majestic creatures since 1985.

Upon arrival at the snorkel site, our expert crew provides a comprehensive safety briefing and fascinating insights into manta ray behavior. You’ll be guided onto our state-of-the-art “manta flotation device,” equipped with high-powered lights that attract the plankton these majestic creatures feed on. Enjoy approximately 45 minutes in the water witnessing this underwater ballet, followed by hot cocoa and snacks on deck.
Please wear your swimwear and bring a towel and a light jacket or sweater for the return boat ride. Sea Paradise operates a “shoe-less boat” policy, so please wear easy-to-remove sandals. We have limited dry storage for small bags. Underwater cameras are encouraged (no flash permitted), and gratuity for our hard-working crew is appreciated!
If this tour is canceled with more than 24 hours notice, the total amount is refunded. If the tour is canceled without 24 hours notice, full charges apply. No shows incur full charges.

If the reservation was made for 10 or more people, the cancellation must be done 72 hours prior to the tour to get full refund.

Keauhou Bay is located at: 78-7130 Kaleiopapa St, Kailua-Kona, HI 96740. PARKING IS LIMITED AT THE PIER. Free parking is available in areas along Kaleiopapa St. Please allow 3-5 minutes to walk from your vehicle to the boat.
