This half-day sailing tour departs from the stunning Ka’anapali Beach, known as one of the world’s most celebrated beaches, making it the ideal starting point for your snorkeling adventure. Discover Ka’anapali by Trilogy offers a convenient and quick way to reach some of Maui’s best dive sites, giving you ample time for a memorable swimming and snorkeling experience. With the majestic backdrop of Moloka‘i, Lana‘i, and the West Maui Mountains, this tour is a dream for photographers. You’ll visit the pristine waters of Honolua Bay and the abundant shallows of Olowalu, known for their Hawaiian green sea turtles, offering some of Hawai‘i’s most unspoiled coral reef ecosystems.

On this tour, They offer all snorkel equipment and comfortable wetsuit tops. You can also choose an exciting SNUBA® upgrade for a closer look at Maui’s marine life. Furthermore, your journey includes a delicious breakfast and lunch prepared by the captain, and what truly distinguishes this service is the personal attention each guest receives.

The tour starts with a direct board from Ka’anapali Beach, serving a continental breakfast with Mom Coon’s famous cinnamon rolls, chilled tropical fruit, and assorted beverages. After snorkeling, a delicious lunch is provided, featuring shoyu chicken, a spring mix salad, rice pilaf, and Hawaiian sweet rolls. The return sail includes beverages, and the comfort is ensured by the catamaran.

The reefs of West Maui, particularly Honolua Bay, offer fantastic snorkeling, providing ideal conditions and visibility. However, during high surf days, the captain selects the safest site for snorkeling.

THE REEFS OF WEST MAUI
The bays of Honoapi’ilani offer some of the best snorkeling on Maui! Our Captain will choose the preferred snorkeling destination for that day, (most often Honolua Bay), which allows our guests to truly enjoy the most ideal conditions & visibility that West Maui has to offer. You might find yourself swimming among the fish and honu (Hawaiian sea turtle) in the coves of Honolua, enjoying the crystal clear waters at Cliff House, or even snorkeling the expansive Olowalu reef – Maui’s “mother reef”!

*Most common in the Winter months, a North swell can cause large surf at Honolua and Slaughterhouse. On “big surf” days our Captain’s will choose the best and safest snorkeling site for the group; 2 snorkel locations are not guaranteed on days with high surf

SNUBA UPGRADE
For an up close & personal look at Maui’s marine wildlife, we also offer an optional SNUBA upgrade for any guest 8yrs and older (space is limited). SNUBA is a safe and exciting way to explore Maui’s underwater ecosystem, allowing you to breathe underwater through a mouthpiece and an air hose that is connected to a tank sitting in a raft on the surface. Connected through a light harness, you can then dive down up to 20 feet and enjoy up-close-and-personal views of our amazing reef and marine life!

Ka’anapali Beach

Check-in on the beach-side of the Sheraton’s Luau grounds. We recommend parking at the Sheraton parking structure ($10 paid by the guest only if validated by Trilogy) however guests may park anywhere they’d like. After Checking in with the crew, we will walk to board the boat in front of the Outrigger Ka’anapali Resort where there is an ingress zone. Please arrive 30 minutes prior to tour departure to check-in.

Please note you will be loading directly from the beach, through the surf zone onto the boat, and you will get wet! This is a barefoot charter and footwear will be collected prior to departure.
