Trilogy – Discover Molokini Snorkeling Tour with lunch
Snorkeling at Molokini Crater on this fun half-day sailing tour from Ma’alaes Boat Harbor, Maui. Includes 2 snorkeling locations, breakfast, BBQ Lunch & 2 premium beverages.
For many, snorkeling at Molokini Crater is a “must-do” on their Maui vacation, and what better way to experience the beauty of the Hawaiian waters than on a sailboat! We provide ample room on our spacious catamarans and visit two snorkeling locations; the crystal clear waters of Molokini* and the remarkable shallows off the Maui coastline that are home to many honu (the Hawaiian green sea turtle). Not only does this give our guests additional variety, but it’s our way of avoiding some of the crowds. We provide all snorkel equipment including instruction and wetsuit tops. We also offer the option to try the popular upgrade of SNUBA®! Finally, while it’s tough to beat Mom’s homemade cinnamon rolls or Capt. Coon’s BBQ teriyaki chicken for lunch, what really sets Trilogy apart is the personal attention each of our guests receive.
*There are times that the weather will make snorkeling at Molokini Crater or the Maui coastline undesirable and/or dangerous. On these days, the captain will choose the best alternate snorkel location. Please be advised there will be no refunds issued.
Tour Highlights:
A SUBMERGED CALDERA
Molokini crater is an iconic moon-shaped islet with incredibly clear water off of Maui’s Southern coast. With reef visibility of up to 150 feet, the crater is home to over 250 species of fish, sprawling coral reefs, and a diverse selection of marine wildlife, including ulua, manta rays, and monk seals.
TURTLE TOWN
Next, our Captain will sail on to your second snorkeling destination of the day (please note that the exact location can be dependent on weather), oftentimes to Turtle Town or even the exciting and rarely explored backside of Molokini Crater!
NOTE: Occasionally due to unusual weather conditions, snorkeling can be undesirable at Molokini Crater or the South Maui Coast Line. On these days, the Captain will choose the best alternate snorkel location(s).
SNUBA UPGRADE
For an up close & personal look at Maui’s marine wildlife, we also offer an optional SNUBA upgrade for any guest 8yrs and older (space is limited). SNUBA is a safe and exciting way to explore Maui’s underwater ecosystem, allowing you to breathe underwater through a mouthpiece and an air hose that is connected to a tank sitting in a raft on the surface. Connected through a light harness, you can then dive down up to 20 feet and enjoy up-close-and-personal views of our amazing reef and marine life!
